On a fine sunny day a ship was in the harbor riddle.

Riddle: On a fine sunny day a ship was in the harbor. All of a sudden the ship began to sink. There was no storm and nothing wrong with the ship yet it sank right in front of the spectators eyes. What caused the ship to sink?

When you first hear or read this riddle, you probably think that it is a bad thing when it starts to sink. However, in this riddle it is not a bad thing after all. Since this ship is actually a submarine it needs to ‘sink’ in order to truly function.

Therefore, with a second of logical thoughts it can be said that nothing ‘causes’ this ship to sink. In addition to this, it is nearly impossible for a ship to sink on a fine sunny day without any storm or anything wrong.

The answer of this riddle is that it was a submarine.
