# I have 1000 cash on hand, and on my bank account.

Riddle: I have 1000 cash on hand, and on my bank account. I had left 1000 cash. And I withdraw half of 500. Now, how much money I have?

Let’s look step by step explanation.

Fistly, I want to say answer is not 1.500. You can think of half of 1000 as 500, 500 + 1000 in total 1.500. But this is not the correct answer.

In the question,  I see “half of 500” in the question. So, this is not 500. If we say 500 / 2 = 250, I withdraw 250 from bank account.

Now,  1000 cash + 250 withdraw = 1.250 money I have.

1. Babylouver says:

The answer is 2000

IF YOU THINK IT IS 1250.THEN YOU MUST READ THE QUESTION AGAIN, ALL MONEY OWN BY YOU, EVEN YOU WITHDRAW IT OR NOT, ITS ALL YOURS AND THE QUESTION IS “HOW MUCH MANY I HAVE?

EITHER CASH ON HAND OR BANK ACCOUNT THE TOTAL IS 2000.
EVEN YOU WITHDRAW 250 AS HALF OF 500. THE SUM IS STILL THE SAME 2000.

1000 + 1000 – 250 = 1750
